Prosper Walnut Grove 2026 midfielder Mason Kutch was named Gatorade Texas Boys Soccer Player Of The Year. Kutch finished last season with 37 goals and 21 assists, and helped the Wildcats to a 25-0-2 record and the Class 5A D1 state championship.
Kutch was the Dallas Morning News Player of the Year and the Star Local Media MVP, and he was a 2024 United Soccer Coaches Winter-Spring High School All-South Region selection.
Kutch is committed to DePaul University.
He had the game winning assist in overtime to lead Walnut Grove in the 5A D1 title game.
As a sophomore in Walnut Grove’s inaugural season, he had 10 goals in 17 matches.
