What he did: Williams hit the go ahead solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to help the Mustangs beat Azle 6-5 in Game 1 of their regional quarterfinal series. He also pitched 2 2/3 innings in relief, allowed one hit and struck out four. Grapevine swept the Hornets to advance to the regional semis.

What she did: Cherry was awesome in Game 2 and Game 3 against Sulphur Springs. In Game 2, Cherry didn’t allow a run and struck out 11 batters in a 1-0 win to force a Game 3. In the decisive game, Cherry again didn’t allow a run and struck out nine in another 1-0 win to send the Chaps to the regional final.
