Celina softball star has herself a weekend for American Freedom

Kaitlyn Sailor, who recently graduated from Celina High School, had an incredible weekend for her select team American Freedom at the Texas Glory Shootout in Plano.

Sailor batted 12 for 20 (0.600 average) with five home runs, one double, 11 runs batted in and had six stolen bases.

The UT-Arlington bound infielder was voted District 11-4A Offensive MVP this season for the Celina Bobcats after hitting 0.517 with six home runs, 36 RBI and 19 steals.

She was a DFW Fast Pitch second team all-star. It was the third time she was named an all star.

Sailor finished her Celina career with 25 homers and 139 RBI. She was a career 0.506 hitter and hit for extra bases 48% of the time.
