==============================
Caitlin Kobiske, who finished off her college career as one of the best scorers all time at Southeastern Oklahoma State, recently signed a pro contract to play with Helios VS – a women’s pro team located in Vetroz, Switzerland. Kobiske graduated from Keller Central High School in 2021.
During the past four years, Kobiske shined as a forward at SEOSU and nearly led the team to a conference championship and automatic bid to the NCAA D2 tournament this past season.
Kobiske was selected to the GAC all-tournament team after averaging 19 points in three games.
The Storm finished the year 20-11 overall and 15-7 in conference play during the regular season.
It was their most wins in both categories since the 2019-20 season when they went 22-7 and 16-6.
Kobiske was picked for first-team all-GAC, adding to her second-team honors as a junior and sophomore. She was second in the conference with a career-best 17.9 points per game. Kobiske also led the league with a career-high 42.7% from behind the arc – 8th in overall shooting percentage (46.7), 4th in free throw shooting (83.9) and 11th in rebounds (5.6).
In her four years in Durant, the 5-10 forward started in 111 games and appeared in 116.
This past season, Kobiske set career marks in games (31), starts (31), minutes (950), field goals made (190), 3-pointers made (41), 3-point percentage (42.7), defensive rebounds (136), total rebounds (173), steals (33), points (556) and points per game (17.9). She ends her SEOSU career as the 4th leading scorer all-time with 1,572 points and the 9th most rebounds (603). She is just one of three players in program history with 1,500 points and 600 rebounds. Additionally, she excelled in the classroom with an all-academic selection in the GAC all four seasons.
Kobiske was also one of two female athletes to be named Athlete Of The Year at SEOSU during this school year.
During her time at Central HS, Kobiske was a multiple all-district selection, scored over 1,000 points and as a senior, was a McDonald’s All-American nominee.
