Wednesday marked the early signing period for high school football players and the top-ranked wide receiver in the country for the Class of 2025 signed his named with the Oregon Ducks.
5-star player Dakorien Moore is the 4th ranked athlete in the nation and 2nd ranked in Texas according to the 247Sports Composite.
Duncanville has won back to back state championships in Class 6A D1.
The Panthers (12-0) face Cypress Bridgeland in the Region 2 final on Saturday at Waco Midway. They are coming off a win over The Woodlands where Moore finished with 205 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
Moore has over 1,200 yards on the season with 18 TDs.
As a junior, More caught 71 passes for 1,523 yards and 18 TDs. He added 764 yards and 6 TDs as a sophomore and 366 yards and 5 TDs in his debut season as a freshman.
According to 247Sports, Moore had 33 offers and committed to Oregon during the summer. He was previously committed to LSU before de-committing in May.
