Byron Nelson extends win streak, highlights volleyball recap & top performers (10/15)

Byron Nelson reached 30 wins and extended its win streak to 26 matches as the Bobcats dominated the Keller Indians in a matchup of nationally ranked teams, 25-10, 25-14, 25-16 on Tuesday night in District 4-6A. Byron Nelson is 12-0 in district and playoff bound. Keller is 11-2 with its only two losses coming vs Byron Nelson.

Kylie Kleckner (Washington commit) led with 15 kills and a 0.600 hitting percentage. AJ Seay (Rice commit) added 14 kills on a 0.393 clip. Kaitlyn Francis had a team-high 14 digs and the Bobcats totaled five aces. Setter Sophee Peterson finished with 39 assists.

FW All Saints improved to 40-3 overall and 12-0 in TAPPS 1-5A after taking down Faith 25-21, 25-7, 25-8 on Tuesday night. The Saints have won 24 straight matches.

Malia Miller led the way with 14 kills and a 0.700 clip. Tulane commit Lauryn Mack added eight kills. All Saints had 10 aces led by four from Nevaeh Richardson. Setter Jaci Moore finished with 35 assists and eight digs.

FW Paschal won the rematch over FW Arlington Heights 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-13 on Tuesday night at Wilkerson-Greines Center. The two teams are tied in 6-5A with the season series split. Head coach Tim Reimann won his 200th career match.

Georgia Ostransky had a game-high 17 kills and hit 0.325.

She added one ace and 17 digs. Delaney Chase had 21 digs while Hayden Newquist gave the Panthers 22 assists. Ellie Raymond chipped in 11 assists.

Argyle’s Jordyn Moore recorded her 11th triple double (12 kills, 22 assists, 20 digs) – leading the Eagles to their revenge game over Colleyville Heritage 25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23 on Tuesday night. The Eagles are 8-1 in 7-5A while the Panthers are 7-1.

Heritage beat Argyle in the first matchup, in five sets.

Karsyn Rogers finished with 16 assists and 14 digs while Tulane commit Piper Mickenheim added a team-high 27 digs. Harper Hurley and Delany Galligan each had 11 kills.

Frisco Liberty took down Frisco Centennial in a matchup of the top two teams in 11-5A, 25-12, 20-25, 25-21, 25-17 on Tuesday night. Jaiden Harris got her area leading 12th triple double with 18 kills, 28 assists and 10 digs. Riley Wong added 21 assists. Morgan Ferguson chipped in 16 digs.

Vanderbilt commit Madison Victoriano led the Titans with 29 assists and 17 digs.

Jocelyn Moen had a team-high 12 kills.

Frisco Memorial got 15 kills from Tulsa commit Ava Steffe and 12 from Faith Roulston as the Warriors took down Frisco Heritage 25-15, 25-21, 21-25, 25-21 on Tuesday in 11-5A. Aubrey Borjas led the Coyotes with 14 kills.

Memorial had 12 aces with four from Baylor commit Jules Hernandez, who also had digs. Sophia Arena and Addison Childers chipped in 23 and 17 assists, respectively.

Tulsa commit Kylee McCoy, who has the most kills in DFW, put in 19 kills on a 0.455 clip as the Bulldogs beat Longview in 10-5A, 25-21, 25-22, 25-10.

Alayna Howard, #1 in assists, had 33.
