The Wildcats scored four runs in the top of the ninth inning to beat the Jaguars in a District 5-6A road game on Friday night. Guyer has beaten Flower Mound twice this season and owns a two-game lead in the district standings.
Addison Joyner scored on an error in the ninth that gave Guyer a 6-5 lead. The Wildcats added RBI singles from Annaleeia Martinez and Madison Mettille for a four-run advantage.
Trailing 4-2 after six, Chloe O’Brien drove in a run with a single to center that got Guyer within 4-3. Then Finley Montgomery’s two-run single pushed the Wildcats ahead 5-4.
Nahla Hurst led off the Flower Mound seventh with an infield single and one batter later scored on a triple by Adi Bicknell.

Mackenna Jackson set the program career RBIs record to lead the Indians past the Texans in District 4-6A on Friday night.
Jackson hit a two-run home run in the top of the fourth and added an RBI double in the sixth. Jackson ended the game with 171 runs batted in during her career – passing the previous record set by Kasey Simpson.
Cambree Cribbs hit an RBI triple in the sixth and scored on Jackson’s double. Lily Clower added a solo home run in the seventh.
Richland 4, Argyle 3
Stacy Jennings struck out 12 and picked up her 21st win as the Royals hung on to beat Argyle in District 6-5A on Friday night.
Kennedy Parry started the Richland scoring with a two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning. Lauryn Gamez added a two-run single in the sixth to push Richland’s lead to 4-1.
Argyle pulled within one in the seventh following a two-run home run by Noelle Witty.
Byron Nelson 4, SL Carroll 1
Meredith Hambric struck out seven batters to lead Byron Nelson to a win over Southlake Carroll in District 4-6A on Friday night.
McKenna Cleary broke a scoreless tie in the third inning with an RBI single that drove in Bryson Farco. Hall hit a solo homer in the fourth and Brooklyn Hanson added a two-run double in the fifth.
Waxahachie 14, Duncanville 4
Michaela Landers hit her 19th home run of the season and finished with five RBIs as the Indians beat the Panthers in District 11-6A on Friday night.
Landers hit a grand slam in the fourth inning that broke a 4-4 tie. Her five runs batted in pushed her season total to a DFW leading 80 RBIs.
Waxahachie scored 10 unanswered runs.
Madison Lee gave Duncanville a 4-0 lead in the fourth with a grand slam.
Maci Barnes struck out 12 for the Indians.
