Frisco Lone Star’s Makala Wallace has one of the best games all-time vs Braswell

Lone Star senior Makala Wallace had a monster game against Braswell on Friday during the Frisco ISD tournament.

The Rangers won 12-3 in just three innings.

Wallace, who is signed to Texas Woman’s University, hit three home runs – one in each inning – including two grand slams and a school record 10 runs batted in.

She hit a two-run home run in the first inning and grand slams in the second and third innings. Lone Star also Rockwall-Heath 3-1 on Friday.

Brooke Wooten scored in the first inning to help Lone Star build an early 3-0 lead. Wallace’s first grand slam extended the lead to 7-0 in the second. Kendall Harper added an RBI single in the frame. The Rangers scored all five runs in the second inning with two outs.

Braswell scored all three runs in the top of the third.

Wallace’s first home run came on a 2-2 pitch after she went down 0-2. Her first grand slam also came on a 2-2 count while her second grand slam came on a 1-2 pitch where she again went down 0-2.
