The Dragons lost to DeSoto in the 2023 semifinals and reached the 6A D2 championship game in 2024 – losing to Austin Vandegrift at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

During this past season, SLC was District 4-6A champs and Clayton was voted 4-6A Lineman Of The Year. The offensive line blocked for a team that rushed for 190 yards per game and 7.1 yards per carry.

Additionally, QB Angelo Renda threw for 4,266 yards and 46 touchdowns.

According to 247Sports, Clayton is the fourth 2026 from Texas to commit/sign with the Razorbacks and second from the DFW metroplex. 247Sports lists that Arkansas has 22 players from the transfer portal with five players coming with Silverfield from Memphis.
