QB Tre Williams threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns, Lewisville picked off two passes and the Farmers defeated Rockwall 28-21 on Thursday night.
Lewisville moves to 3-0 while Rockwall drops to 1-2.
Tenel Hill rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown while Landon Bogany caught two scores. The Yellowjackets were led by running back Kaydon Castro, who carried 30 times for 115 yards and two touchdowns.
Deuce Mathis and Xavier Fleming had interceptions for Lewisville. The Farmers are on a bye in Week 4 and begin District 5-6A against FM Marcus on Sept. 26. Rockwall will face North Crowley on Sept. 18.
Tied at 14-14, Williams and Bogany connected for a touchdown with just two seconds left in the first half. A touchdown from Castro tied it at 21 with 9:55 left in the fourth.
Mathis picked off a pass with under seven minutes left and shortly after, Lewisville scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 24-yard TD from Williams to Landon Brazzell.
