Frisco Lone Star put up 54 points between the second and third quarters during its route over Frisco Heritage on Thursday night.
The Rangers (5-0) are ranked #2 in the DCTF 5A D1 state rankings.
Nothing special – Lone Star was a heavy favorite. But the bigger story is the return of star Davian Groce. The 4-star athlete made his season debut after missing the first four games with an injury.
Groce made 10 catches for 233 yards with two touchdowns.
He committed to Florida in August.
Groce is listed as high as the #3 athlete in the Class of 2026 and #6 best prospect in Texas according to 247Sports.
During his previous three seasons with the Rangers, Groce has produced nearly 4,000 total yards and 38 touchdowns.
