Evan Hendrix picked up a massive 32 kills on 69 attempts for a 0.348 hitting percentage to lead the TCU volleyball team to a 32-30, 30-32, 25-21, 25-21 win over #23 Missouri to close out their Battle In The Fort Showcase on Friday night.
The win pushes TCU’s record to 7-1 this season and extends its win streak to seven matches in a row. Five of its seven wins have come against Top 25 teams (Penn State, UCLA 2x, Texas A&M).
Rockwall grad Becca Kelley had 15 kills while Lovejoy’s Rosemary Archer had 22 assists.
Missouri was led by Grapevine’s Janet Demarrais, who had 16 kills.
The Frogs’ only loss came in the season opener against Pitt. They look to get another Top 25 win on Wednesday when they travel to Austin to face the Texas Longhorns. TCU swept Wyoming and Rhode Island to go to 3-0 in the showcase.
