Lewisville grad Paislie Allen announced her transfer from Georgia to Texas A&M on Friday. Allen spent one year at UGA – where she appeared in 41 games and made 27 starts.
Allen helped the Bulldogs to a 35-23 record and appearance in the SEC tournament.
Allen finished the season with a 0.246 batting average with 16 hits, 9 RBI, 4 doubles, 1 home runs, 4 stolen bases and 10 runs scored.
While at Lewisville, Allen was District Defensive MVP twice and three-time DFW Fast Pitch All-Metroplex all star. Other accolades included TGCA All-State and All-Area honors by both the Star Local Media and Dallas Morning News.
In the summer of 2024, Allen competed with the U.S. U-18 Women’s National Team at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). Team USA punched its ticket to the 2025 WBSC World Cup Finals with Allen posting a tournament-best nine runs batted in.
