Former Frisco Reedy softball star Micky Wark transfers to Texas A&M

Micaela Wark, who starred at Frisco Reedy, will play her final college softball season at Texas A&M. She spent the last three seasons at Oklahoma State. This past year, Wark hit 0.241 with 28 hits, 8 home runs, 2 doubles, 18 RBI and 12 runs scored in 53 games played and 42 starts.

The Cowgirls produced a 131-48 overall record and 44-23 in conference during the past three seasons.

Some of Wark’s accolades at OSU included 2023 All-Big 12 All-Freshman Team, 2023 NFCA First Team All-Region, 2024 NFCA Second Team All-Region and Big 12 Player Of The Week (March 7, 2023). In 2023 and 2024, Oklahoma State went to the Women’s College World Series.

Wark finished her career in Stillwater with 170 games and 157 starts with a 0.283 batting average, 119 hits, 29 homers, 99 runs batted in, 19 doubles and 60 runs scored. She hit 10 bombs in her first year with OSU alongside 51 RBI. She added 11 homers and 30 RBI in 2024.

She spent her freshman year at Kansas, but redshirted.

While at Reedy, Wark set school records in batting average, on base percentage, home runs, runs batted in and doubles. She led the Lions to the regional semifinals in 2019 and earned all-area selections from the Star Local Media and Dallas Morning News.
