Former Southlake Carroll quarterback Quinn Ewers has declared for the NFL Draft after three seasons with the Texas Longhorns.
During the past two years in Austin, Ewers posted a 21-5 record and led UT to the playoffs in back-to-back years. Texas lost in the national semifinal round against Ohio State.
In three years, Ewers completed 65% of his passes for over 9,100 yards and 68 touchdowns.
According to CBS Sports, Ewers is the 4th ranked QB during this year’s draft with possible landing spots in Cleveland, Vegas and LA (Rams).
Ewers was the #1 high school recruit after reclassifying to the 2021 class.
After committing to Ohio State and spending one season with the Buckeyes, Ewers transferred to Austin.
While in Southlake, Ewers was an All-American that amassed 6,500 yards passing and 73 touchdowns against only eight interceptions and completed 70% of his passes. He also rushed for 12 TDs in 22 career games for Riley Dodge and the Dragons. He led Carroll to the state championship game during the 2020 season.
