Oak Cliff Faith Family girls basketball coach Andrea Robinson has been suspended for the next two years with a public reprimand for recruiting violations, the UIL announced during an SEC meeting on Wednesday. Along with Robinson, assistant coaches Kadi Creel and Jordan Jones also received the same punishment.

The team also got a one-year ban from the postseason and a three-year probation period.

The announcement comes just two days before the regular season begins.

Back in October, the 13-5A DEC found the program guilty for recruiting violations. The UIL also determined that Faith Family was holding back information for certain transfers.

A total of 18 transfers came to Faith Family to join Robinson, who arrived from DeSoto. She led DeSoto to four state tournament appearances in five years along with state championships in 2021 and 2022.

Among the 18 included two highly ranked players who played under Robinson in DeSoto, one from Mansfield Lake Ridge, one from Montverde in Floriday and four from Southlake Carroll.
