Suli Davis is nearing the end of one of the most dynamic careers in Texas High School volleyball history. The 6-2 senior outside hitter just helped Colleyville Heritage to its second district championship in the past three seasons.
Heritage will begin next week’s D1 playoffs against Granbury.
Recently, Davis who is committed to BYU, passed 2,500 career kills and 1,500 career digs – and was celebrated during Tuesday’s final regular season match against Richland.
The 2nd ranked player in the country, had 519 kills during her freshman year at Nolan Catholic. As a sophomore, she helped the Panthers to their first state championship and 40 wins. She finished with 506 kills and 369 digs.
Last season as a junior, CHHS went back to the state tournament and won 40 games again. Davis ran a 6-2 offense and split time at setter – ending the year with 793 kills, 484 digs and 528 assists.
Also this season, Davis was given her jersey for the Under Armour All-American game.
