After more than 48 hours, the Marauders got a walk off RBI single down the third base line by Karli Burgess in the 12th inning to push the Marauders into first place in District 6-6A. Marcus moves to 9-2 while West drops to 8-3 with three games left in the regular season.

West pitcher MC Pollacia retired the Marcus side followed by Poteete to send it to the bottom of the 11th. The Wolves went up 4-2 on Kaaya Mehta’s second home run of the game.

Marcus got two runners on the corners and no outs in the bottom of the 12th. Avery Rich pulled the Marauders within 4-3 on an RBI fielder’s choice. Then an RBI triple from Emily Souders tied the game at 4 before she scored on Burgess’ walk off single.
