Boswell 10, Paschal 8
Down 8-3 entering the sixth inning, the Pioneers rallied back to beat the Panthers in nine innings during District 3-6A play. Boswell is 13-4 overall and 3-0 in district while Paschal dropped to 2-1 and 5-10-2. The Pioneers scored four in the sixth and one in the seventh to force extra innings.
Paschal recorded three errors and one passed ball on defense in the sixth.
Boswell scored all four runs with two outs. With the bases loaded and two outs, Bell hit a hard grounder to center to make it 8-4. Pockrus scored on a passed ball to cut it to 8-5. Another error by the Panthers helped the Pioneers score two more to pull within 8-7. Down to its final out in the seventh, Boswell got the game tying home run from A&M signee shortstop Sawyer Farr. Bell tripled in two runs with two outs in the ninth.
Plowman had two doubles and two RBIs for Boswell.
Paschal was led by Seth Pate (two doubles), Ruben Ayala (3-4, 3 RBIs) and Charlie Witherington (4 RBIs).

Burleson Centennial 2, Summit 1
Max Irwin took a 1-2 pitch into left field and Kane Whitney scored from third as Centennial walked it off against Summit in District 8-5A. The Spartans improved to 11-8 overall and 3-1 in district play. Irwin went down 0-2 before fouling off back to back pitches and looking at a ball to make it a 1-2 count.
Centennial scored two runs on three hits. Summit scored one run on two hits.
Parker Womack allowed three walks and struck out 10 in the complete game. Summit starting pitcher Clarence Nevels, a freshman, allowed one hit and five walks while striking out four before coming out in the seventh after hitting his pitch limit. Centennial scored in the bottom of the second before Summit tied it a half inning later.

Argyle 3, Richland 0
The Eagles, #1 in the latest Class 5A state rankings, got six strikeouts from starting pitcher Alex D’Angelo during their District 7-5A win over the Royals. Argyle improves to 3-0 in district and 11-2-2 overall.
D’Angelo lasted six innings and allowed two hits and two walks. John Gailey allowed one hit and struck out two in one inning of relief. Richland’s Riley Wood allowed three runs on seven hits and struck out three in a complete game effort.
Micah Roberts led off the Argyle fourth with a double to right and D’Angelo walked following a six-pitch at-bat. After a sacrifice and one out, Park Prater singled to right that scored Roberts. Argyle added two more in the top of the sixth inning on RBIs from D’Angelo and Prater.

Colleyville Heritage 4, Denton 0
The Panthers picked up their first district win following a shutout over the Broncos.
Jobe Reed threw a one-hit shutout and finished with two walks and 17 strikeouts. He finished with 98 pitches and 66 for strikes. Ryan Kelly hit a one-out triple to right in the second and scored one batter later on a Weston Ballard RBI single. CHHS added two more in the fifth on a Denton error.
Cash Lyle hit a hard grounder and Jacob Mayfield and Xavier Rosado both scored.
Heritage scored its last run in the sixth when Rosado reached and Ethan Steach crossing the plate.

Saginaw 1, Azle 0
The Rough Riders stayed in a tie for first place in District 5-5A after their one-run dub over the Hornets in nine innings. Both teams ended the game with two hits apiece. Devin Behm led off the bottom of the ninth with a walk and advanced to second on a sac bunt by Vincent Gonzalez.
Next batter Gavin Leadbetter doubled on a 1-2 pitch to left for the walk-off.
Donnie Edgar needed only 102 pitches to go all nine innings and struck out 10.
Azle starting pitcher Christian Shepherd allowed one hit and struck out nine in six innings.

Howe 10, North Dallas 0
Anthony Lowder combined with David Grant for a two-hit shutout and nine strikeouts for the Bulldogs. Lowder also impressed at the plate – going 2 for 4 with a home run and four runs batted in. Garrett Rodgers went 2 for 2 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Garrett Gibbs added an RBI and went 2 for 3.
