SUMMARY: In a battle between Top 10 Class 5A state ranked teams, it was Perry and the Rangers that defeated #10 The Colony 68-46 on Tuesday Jan. 9. The win was the 11th straight for Lone Star, which is ranked #9. The Rangers also beat RL Turner 74-21 on Friday for their 12th in a row. Lone Star is 20-3 overall and 5-0 in District 9-5A.

HER STATS: 29 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds
SUMMARY: Sherrer had a career night on Friday during the Cowgirls 71-38 district win over Plano. The victory snapped Coppell’s three game losing streak and improved its record to 4-3 in 6-6A and 17-13 overall. Sherrer’s 29 points marked a career high for the junior star.
