Burleson Centennial defensive star Cole Confessore commits to TCU

After being selected as a first-team cornerback in District 3-5A Division 1, Centennial senior Cole Confessore announced he’ll be a Horned Frog. Confessore tweeted out his commitment to TCU on Thursday.

Centennial went 7-4 last season with a playoff appearance and finished in third place in district. Confessore finished the year with 40 total tackles, 2 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, 2 recovered fumbles, 1 strip sack and 5 total pass deflections.

During their historic year in 2022, Confessore was voted second-team in District 3-5A Division 1 and finished with 32 total tackles, 14 solo tackles, 6 pass deflections, a forced fumble and one interception return for a touchdown. He also had a rushing TD and averaged 28.6 yards per return.

Confessore is a 4-year starter for the varsity program at Centennial.

They allowed 251 points in 14 games during the 2022 season.

Confessore was also named first-team defense in Johnson County by the Cleburne Times Review.
