7 PM FRIDAY AT EAGLE STADIUM
A clash between state-ranked teams that will determine the district championship in 3-5A D2. Emerson enters Week 8 at #2 in the DCTF state rankings. Argyle, after losing the first two games, has won three straight and re-enters the state rankings at #10.
The Emerson Mavericks is the highest scoring offense in the metroplex and have scored 40 or more points in all seven games. They travel to Argyle this week with 422 points this season and an average of 60 points per game.
Argyle dropped the first two games this season against #1 Melissa and Lovejoy, but have since beaten Montgomery, Frisco Memorial and Lake Dallas by a combined score of 133 points – including a 52-21 win over previously undefeated Lake Dallas in Week 7.

2. ALLEN (4-2, 3-0) VS MCKINNEY (6-0, 3-0)
7 PM FRIDAY AT MCKINNEY ISD STADIUM
Another big game on Friday features the Allen Eagles and McKinney Lions. McKinney enters Week 8 at #13 in the Class 6A state rankings. This is a huge game for the district standings as both are tied for first place in 5-6A with Prosper at 3-0 while Denton Guyer is right behind at 2-1.
McKinney already has one statement win this season, opening the year with a 23-21 victory at home over 5A powerhouse Longview. The 21 points were the most allowed. They’ve allowed 10 or fewer three times.
Allen has picked up steam after losing its first two games. The Eagles lost to undefeated DeSoto and 5-1 Houston King. But now ride a 4-game winning streak with wins of 20, 56, 24 and 35 points. The D is allowing just under 8 points per game in their last three.

3. NORTH FORNEY (6-0, 2-0) VS ROCKWALL (6-1, 3-0)
7 PM FRIDAY AT WILKERSON-SANDERS STADIUM
The final must watch game on Friday pits the two undefeated squads in District 10-6A between the North Forney Falcons and Rockwall Yellowjackets. Rockwall enters the week ranked #20 in the Class 6A state rankings.
North Forney is one of the best stories of the season. After two disappointing years with a combined record of 5-15 overall and 1-12 in district, the Falcons are 6-0. They started the season with a 20 point win over now 5-1 Whitehouse and then beat a good defensive team in Mesquite Horn 20-16.
Rockwall is one of the best offenses in the state averaging 50 points a game. The Jackets are coming off a 63 point performance in Week 7 against Royse City. They were a stop away from being 7-0 – they lost 60-59 on a two-point conversion in the final minute in Week 2 against Jesuit.
