Justin Northwest 2024 Madison Scrivner announced her commitment on Tuesday to continue her volleyball career at the University of North Texas.
Scrivner has been a three year letterwinner for the Texans and helped the team to remarkable seasons in back to back years.
During her freshman and sophomore years, she was a 6-2 setter, splitting time with fellow setters Sophie Chambers and Cassidy Hargesheimer. She finished with 228 assists in 2020 and 221 in 2021. Then as a junior, she saw time at outside hitter and libero. She put in a career high 414 digs and 213 kills.
Northwest went 37-10 last season and 12-0 to win District 5-5A. It was the program’s first undefeated district championship and the 37 wins were most all time. Northwest even had a 25 game winning streak at one point.
In Scrivner’s sophomore season, the Texans went 27-12 and finished second in district. They reached the regional quarterfinals for the first time since 1998.
