Nicole and Samantha Humphries will go down as two of the best athletes in Flower Mound history…and they still have one more season left.
The Class of 2024 twins announced last Friday their commitments to continue their track and cross country career with the Oregon Ducks.
The twins finished in a tie for first place and the Class 6A state championship in cross country last season and helped the Jaguars to a third straight team title.
Both sisters ended the race in 17:36.40.
Then both qualified for the state track meet in May.
Samantha, who also won the 800 meter race in 2022, went second in the 3200, second in the 1600 and sixth in the 800 this year. Nicole went third in the 3200, third in the 1600 and fifth in the 800.
Both sisters are ranked in the Top 25 nationally.
